The Children Need to Learn That There Are Other Worlds Than These
With the introduction of "Harry Potter" and the release of the "The Lord of The Rings" movies, children have a renewed
passion for reading. However, the classics such as "To Kill A Mockingbird" and "The Lord of the Flies" are lying on the shelves
dusty.
If we teachers could inspire the children to find the excitement in the classics that they find in the movie theaters then
the lost world of literature can be found again.
Inspired by my high school Literature teacher, I found the beauty in "Les Miserables" and "Crime and Punishment." I am
sure we can somehow transfer our love to our students.
On the way to becoming a master teacher for our children, we can help each other with curriculum and moral support.
